WHAT TO EXPECT AT MASS
6’ SOCIAL DISTANCING
Pews that must remain vacant have been roped off. Pews with an X will also remain vacant. Households may sit together while respecting 6’ Social Distancing from other parishioners/families.
FACIAL COVERING
Face coverings over nose and mouth should be worn when at public Mass. Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or anyone unable to remove the mask without assistance.
FLOOR MARKINGS
The floors are marked with blue painter tape at 6’ increments. This will assist with Communion Distribution which will primarily take place single file down the center isle of the churches. Verbal instructions will be given at time of reception.
OFFERTORY COLLECTION
Baskets are set up at each entrance. Offertory envelopes can be dropped in the baskets upon entry into church.
SUSPENSIONS
Entrance/Offertory/Recessional Processions are temporarily omitted. Holding hands during the Our Father, Sign of Peace, and reception of the Precious Blood are all suspended until further notice.
DISMISSAL AFTER MASS
Parishioners are asked to remain in their pews at the end of Mass. Ushers will direct parishioners in an orderly dismissal of the congregation.
SOCIAL GATHERING
Social gathering is not permitted inside the church or vestibule areas. Please respect 6’social distancing when gathering outside of the church buildings.
CHURCH DISINFECTING
At this time, maintenance staff will disinfect all church and adjoining areas following each of the listed Mass times. Parishioners are asked not to access the church and adjoining areas other than at the listed public Mass times.
In order to keep areas properly disinfected and to comply with health regulations, it is essential that we know who is entering the church areas and when. This remains in effect for all parish facilities.
