Adult Learning Opportunities at Epiphany of the Lord 

Please consider attending and/or volunteering. 

To attend: Family of Faith Parent (Adult) Talks, one Wednesday/month, 6:30 pm; church basement- White Street Campus 

Wed. March 6- Anointing of the Sick & Sacred Triduum 

Wed. April 10- Sacraments of Matrimony & Holy Orders 

To volunteer: Please consider helping by presenting during the 2024-2025 school year. Presentations are typically the first Wednesday in the month but, occasionally, are moved due a conflict such as a holiday week. Outline and PowerPoint are available to aid in your preparation. Topics are: 

October- We were made for beatitude, November- Forming our conscience and avoiding sin, December- Growing in virtue, January- The First Great Commandment and the First through Fourth Commandments, February- The Second Great Commandment and the Fifth through Tenth Commandments, March- The New Commandment and the First through Fourth Beatitudes, April- The Second through Eighth Beatitudes and Catholic Social Teaching 

To attend: Bible Studies available periodically. They usually run 4-8 weeks (depending on length of study chosen) and then take a few weeks before beginning the next study. Times have been Monday evenings 6:30- 8 pm or Thursday mornings 10-11:30 am. We have been using the St. Boniface Room at our White Street Campus (below the parish offices and right off the church basement). 

Topic: The Mystery of the Eucharist in the Life of the Church 

Mondays, 6:30 to 8 pm- Feb. 5, Feb. 12, Feb. 19, Feb. 26, March 4, March 11, and March 18 

Thursdays, 10-11:30 am- Feb. 8, Feb. 15, Feb. 22, Feb. 29, March 7, March 14, and March 21 

To volunteer: Anyone wishing to lead a study may choose to do so at a different day/time or may use the same times that we have been using. Kathy Fech and/or Deacon Leon are happy to assist you in picking a topic and getting materials together to lead a study.
