Palm Sunday
Dear Epiphany Family,
It is hard to believe that we have already made it to Holy Week. It is always so beautiful as we recall, enter into, and accompany Jesus through the Paschal Mystery, his passion, death, and resurrection. Last year was a very difficult Holy Week as we were unable to gather for Masses publicly. Praise God that more and more signs point to the pandemic lessening and the light of a return to “normal” coming closer! My hope and prayer is that over this past year we have grown to having a greater appreciation for the gift of our Catholic faith and have deepened our relationship with Jesus in the midst of difficult times, striving ever more to put him in the center of our lives. I look forward to celebrating this Holy Week probably more than any other. We should unite all that we have experienced in recent times to Jesus’ passion, death, and resurrection. Hopefully we can also realize how he has been faithful in accompanying us as we have shared in his life in perhaps deeper ways than before.
Thank you to those who have already made their reservations for Holy Week and Easter Masses and liturgies. There of course is still time to do so in order to help us better welcome more people back by maximizing the space of our churches and helping keep everyone as safe as we can. Thank you for your consideration of others and your dedication, support, and prayers for our parish. May Jesus draw us closer to him and help us both follow him more closely and share him more readily with others through the gift of Holy Week.
In Christ,
Father Eric
**Please take note on Holy Thursday for adoration after Mass it will only be for one hour not until midnight. It’s wrong on the Lent/Easter Schedule.**
