Legacy of Faith Annual Fund 2020

 DEAR EPIPHANY FAMILY, 

A historic moment occurred July 1, 2013 when the newly designated Epiphany of the Lord Parish was canonically created, embracing the parish territories of the six original Catholic communities rooted in East Toledo that included: Good Shepherd, Holy Rosary, Sacred Heart, St. Louis, St. Stephen, and St. Thomas Aquinas. For over 150 years, the legacy of faith of these original parishes anchored the vibrant faith of the People of God that would eventually become the unique Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Parish. 

This legacy of faith has stood the test of time; many generations have left an imprint on it through their devotion, dedication, and sacrifice. Current and future generations of Catholics are blessed through the generations that preceded them. Looking to the future, our parish welcomes all people who seek to understand, serve, and deepen their love for Jesus Christ. Working together as holy priests and deacons, dedicated religious, and committed laity, Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Parish is entrusted to future generations. 

This, dear Epiphany family, is where WE NEED YOU! Just as previous generations have sacrificed to build strong, vibrant communities of faith, we ask you to sacrifice for the growth and future development of our parish. To provide for the present and future needs of our Epiphany of the Lord Parish, we are building on the “FAITH + FAMILY + FUTURE: LEGACY OF FAITH ANNUAL FUND” which is collected in the fall of every year. Proceeds from this fund will be used in a twofold manner: a portion of the annual proceeds will be placed in an endowment account which will provide for future maintenance and facility needs and a portion will be used for current expenditures. The loss of rental income from the Front Street property, the Reach Academy on the St. Stephen campus, and lessened giving due to the pandemic have tightened our budget, even as we evaluate and prioritize maintenance projects and expand programs across our campuses. Your gift will help stabilize our budget so that we are able to focus on spiritual matters and serving God’s people. 

You have the option of giving securely online via our website at epiphanyofthelord.org, or by mailing to the Parish Office at 729 White Street, Toledo, Ohio 43605. You may also clearly mark your donation as “Annual Fund” and drop in the Sunday collection or in the parish office mail slot off White Street.
